To take Ahed thoughts on Education and Economic Development of Baba Saheb for under prevailing Society,
WE MUST BE MAKERS OF OUR OWN ECONOMIC DESTINY –
Baba Sheb Ambedkar.
We are pleased to share that the Mahyavanshi Educational and Charitable Trust (MECT) is steadily establishing itself and has initiated some impactful activities aimed at empowering our youth through Education, knowledge and skill Development . We are working on both short-term and long-term planning.
We have decided to work in multiple Dimensions for Empowering our Students in their Higher Studies and careers .
I would like to share that after giving well thoughts, we like minded 8 friends of community have created Registered Trust in 2024 with own intial funds of Rs 11 Lakhs. There after we have raised Funds from New 11 nominated trustees and from some of our Community members , who knows values of Education as well as acknowledges transparency, activities and Mission of our Trust.
Further, We are excited to announce the launch of the official MECT website on 27th July 2025.
This digital platform, along with well equipped Sneh Sankul Students Help Centre, for which we are sincerely grateful to support MECT for assigning its management.
We have given financial support, guidance to our Bright and financial needy students on principal of Pay Back to Society. .
Our website makes our work easier and enable us to reach out to every Mahyavanshi, no matter where they reside.
Through these platforms and collective efforts of all like minded friends from our community , we will try to achieving desired Results through affirmative action.
We aim to make a meaningful impact in various areas such as:
- Integration of community and members of different fields and area.
- We will collect certain data of our community for making our long term planning.
- Raising awareness of educational opportunities
- Skill development and capacity building for youth and women
- Tackling challenges in competitive fields with informed solutions
- Promoting investment in human capital through internal resources of community.
- Creating a bridge between our highly qualified youth and professionals across India and abroad (including NRIs)
- Spreading awareness about central and state government Educational and Entrepreneurship schemes
- Extending Advanced support and opportunities to our entrepreneurs and business community , bringing all of them on one page and platform.
All these efforts are part of our vision to build a comprehensive community database and strengthen the overall development of our youth, women, and society.
Friends, we have still miles to go for empowering our youth in highly competitive Globalization time.

શિક્ષણથી સ્વ-વિકાસ અને ‘પે-બેક ટુ સોસાયટી’થી સમાજ ઉત્કર્ષ!

નેલ્સન મંડેલાના આ અમર વિચારને આત્મસાત કરીને સમાજ ઉત્કર્ષના કાર્યમાં જોડાવાનો મને અવસર મળ્યો છે. માહ્યાવંશી એજ્યુકેશનલ એન્ડ ચેરિટેબલ ટ્રસ્ટ (MECT), સુરત ખાતે ૧૯ જુલાઈ, ૨૦૨૬ ના રોજ મને ઉપપ્રમુખ તરીકેની અગત્યની જવાબદારી સોંપવામાં આવી છે, ત્યારે હું અત્યંત ગૌરવ અને નમ્રતાની લાગણી અનુભવું છું. આ મહત્ત્વપૂર્ણ પદ પર મારી પસંદગી કરવા બદલ હું સમગ્ર કારોબારી સમિતિ, ટ્રસ્ટી મંડળ અને સમાજનો હૃદયપૂર્વક આભાર માનું છું.
માહ્યાવંશી સમાજ વર્ષોથી પોતાની સખત મહેનત, પ્રામાણિકતા અને સમર્પણ ભાવના માટે ઓળખાય છે. પરંતુ બદલાતા આધુનિક સમયમાં સમાજની વાસ્તવિક પ્રગતિ અને મુખ્ય ધારામાં મજબૂત સ્થાન મેળવવા માટે ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણ અત્યંત અનિવાર્ય છે. સુરતના આંગણે જ્યારે અમે MECT ની સ્થાપના કરી, ત્યારે અમારો એક જ દ્રઢ સંકલ્પ હતો: “સમાજનો કોઈ પણ તેજસ્વી વિદ્યાર્થી માત્ર આર્થિક સંકડામણને કારણે શિક્ષણથી વંચિત ન રહેવો જોઈએ.”
ઘણીવાર એવું જોવા મળે છે કે શાળાકીય અભ્યાસમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ પ્રદર્શન કરનાર તેજસ્વી વિદ્યાર્થીઓ મેડિકલ, એન્જિનિયરિંગ કે અન્ય ટેકનિકલ અભ્યાસક્રમોની તોતિંગ ફીના કારણે પોતાના સપનાઓ મુકી દેવા મજબૂર બને છે. MECT આ આર્થિક અવરોધોની દીવાલ તોડવાનું મજબૂત માધ્યમ બન્યું છે. અમે માત્ર એકાદ વર્ષની ફી ભરીને અટકી નથી જતા, પરંતુ વિદ્યાર્થીનો અભ્યાસક્રમ સફળતાપૂર્વક પૂર્ણ ન થાય ત્યાં સુધી વાલી બનીને તેની આંગળી પકડી રાખવાની નેમ ધરાવીએ છીએ.
અમારા ટ્રસ્ટની સૌથી વિશિષ્ટ અને ગૌરવપૂર્ણ વિભાવના ‘પે-બેક ટુ સોસાયટી’ (Pay-Back to Society) છે. આ કોઈ વ્યાજબી કે આર્થિક બોજ નથી, પરંતુ નૈતિક જવાબદારીનો એક પવિત્ર સેતુ છે. આજે જે વિદ્યાર્થીને ટ્રસ્ટ દ્વારા સહાય મળે છે, તે ભવિષ્યમાં પોતાની કારકિર્દીમાં સ્થિર થઈને આ રકમ સંસ્થાને પરત કરે છે, જેથી તે જ રકમમાંથી સમાજના અન્ય કોઈ જરૂરિયાતમંદ વિદ્યાર્થીનું ભવિષ્ય ઉજ્જવળ બનાવી શકાય. આ એક અવિરત ચાલતું ચક્ર છે. તાજેતરમાં જ આપણા સમાજની એક તેજસ્વી દીકરીએ M.Tech પૂર્ણ કર્યા બાદ પોતાની સહાયની રકમમાંથી રૂ. ૨૫,૦૦૦/- પરત આપીને આ ‘પે-બેક ટુ સોસાયટી’ ના સિદ્ધાંતને સાર્થક કરી બતાવ્યો છે, જે આપણા સૌ માટે પ્રેરણારૂપ છે.
સૌથી ગર્વની ક્ષણ તો એ હતી જ્યારે આપણી એક દીકરીએ સ્પેસ સાયન્સ એન્ડ ટેકનોલોજીમાં પોતાનું રિસર્ચ પેપર રજૂ કર્યું અને આજે તે ઇંગ્લેન્ડ ખાતે કાર્યરત છે. આ સફળતા સાબિત કરે છે કે જો આપણા બાળકોને યોગ્ય તક અને પ્રોત્સાહન મળે, તો તેઓ આકાશ આંબવાની ક્ષમતા ધરાવે છે.
શિક્ષણની સાથે સાથે MECT ટ્રસ્ટ મહિલા સશક્તિકરણ, રોજગારી પૂરી પાડવા અને સામાજિક ઉત્થાન માટે પણ પૂરી નિષ્ઠાથી કટિબદ્ધ છે. અમારું વિઝન માત્ર ડિગ્રીધારી યુવાનો તૈયાર કરવાનું નથી, પરંતુ ઉત્તમ સંસ્કાર અને સમાજ પ્રત્યે સંવેદનશીલતા ધરાવતા શ્રેષ્ઠ નાગરિકોનું નિર્માણ કરવાનું છે.
આ તકે, હું સંસ્થાના પ્રમુખ શ્રી મનહરભાઈ ભેસાણીયા, મંત્રી શ્રી સુરેશભાઈ ભારતી, નવા નિમાયેલા કારોબારી સભ્યો, તમામ ટ્રસ્ટીશ્રીઓ, ઉદાર મનના દાતાશ્રીઓ અને ઉત્સાહી સ્વયંસેવકોનો આભાર વ્યક્ત કરું છું. આપ સૌના નિઃસ્વાર્થ સહકાર વગર આટલી ટૂંકી અવધિમાં આટલી મોટી સિદ્ધિઓ શક્ય નહોતી.
આવો, આપણે સૌ સાથે મળીને કરુણા, હિંમત અને સામુદાયિક એકતાના બળે શિક્ષણના આ પવિત્ર યજ્ઞમાં આપણું શ્રેષ્ઠ યોગદાન આપીએ અને એક એવા સમૃદ્ધ સમાજનું નિર્માણ કરીએ જ્યાં શિક્ષણ એ દરેક બાળકનો જન્મસિદ્ધ અધિકાર બને.
